Shipping and Import Charges

These rules apply to orders placed at cumuluswool.com. The price and availability of each delivery method are confirmed in the cart before you place your order.

1. Shipping costs

Poland – 4€, 1–2 business days
Germany – 10€, 4–6 business days
Rest of the EU – 15€, 4–6 business days
United Kingdom – 23€, 4–6 business days
United States, Canada, Switzerland, Norway, Japan, China, Taiwan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Thailand, Australia, Singapore – 50€, 4–6 business days

If your country is not listed, let us know and we will check whether we can deliver there.

2. Order preparation and delivery time

Orders are prepared for dispatch within the time stated on the product page. This preparation time is added to the estimated transit time.

Delivery times are estimates, counted from the day the parcel is handed to the carrier. They exclude Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, carrier delays and customs clearance. After dispatch, you will receive a tracking number whenever the carrier provides tracking.

3. Prices and VAT

The Seller uses the Polish small-business VAT exemption. Polish VAT is not added to product prices or delivery charges.

Prices shown in the cart are the amounts you pay to us. For delivery outside the European Union, they do not include import taxes, customs duties or clearance charges unless the order summary clearly states otherwise.

4. Recipient details

Please provide the recipient’s full name, full street address (including building and apartment number), postal code, city, country, an active phone number with the country code, and an email address. Where required, also add the state, province, canton or region, and for business orders the company name and VAT or EORI number.

Please write the address in the Latin alphabet. The name should match the recipient’s ID where identification is needed for delivery or customs. For deliveries outside Poland, please give a full street address; a PO Box or parcel locker cannot be used instead.

We do not collect sensitive ID numbers (such as a US Social Security number) at checkout. If customs or the carrier needs one, they will ask the recipient directly.

5. Customs documents

For shipments outside the European Union, we prepare a commercial invoice with the product description, quantity, actual selling price, currency, country of origin, tariff code, transport cost and purpose of shipment.

Purchased goods are never declared as gifts or below their actual price. Customs or the carrier may ask the recipient for proof of purchase, proof of payment, an ID number or other information. Please send what they ask for directly to them, within their deadline.

6. Taxes and charges outside the European Union

Unless the order summary clearly states that import taxes have been collected, parcels are shipped on DAP (Delivered at Place) terms. This means the amount you pay us does not include import VAT or sales tax, customs duty, clearance costs or carrier fees.

The recipient is responsible for import formalities and for paying any charges requested by customs, the tax authority or the carrier. We do not set these charges and cannot guarantee their amount. Customs clearance may add time to delivery. If nothing is charged before dispatch, this does not mean the parcel is exempt from charges later.

United Kingdom: orders of GBP 135 or less cannot be placed directly in this store unless the order summary confirms that UK VAT has been collected. If such an order is accepted because of a technical error, we may cancel it before dispatch and refund the full payment. For orders over GBP 135, import VAT, any customs duty and clearance charges may be collected from the recipient.

Norway: we do not currently collect Norwegian VAT under the VOEC scheme. Import VAT, any customs duty and carrier charges may be collected from the recipient.

United States: all parcels are subject to import duty, whatever their value. A rough estimate is: product value × 10% + about EUR 17–25 in carrier clearance fees. Example: for an order worth EUR 180, the extra charges are about EUR 35–43. Use the product value only, without shipping. Some knitted clothing, such as tops, may have a higher duty rate. This is an estimate only; the final amount is set by US Customs and the carrier and must be paid before delivery.

7. Incorrect details and undelivered parcels

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us. Please tell us about any mistake straight away. After dispatch, changing the address may be impossible or cost extra.

If delivery or customs clearance cannot be completed because of a wrong address, no response, missing information, refusal to pay charges or a parcel that is not collected, the carrier may return it to us or handle it under its own terms.

Not collecting a parcel does not by itself count as withdrawing from the contract. If you want to withdraw, please send us a clear statement.

When a parcel comes back to us, we will settle the order in line with the law. We may ask only for actual, documented and legally recoverable extra costs caused by the customer. Nothing is deducted automatically or in a way that limits your consumer rights.

8. Returns and delivery costs

You can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving it. The full procedure is on our Returns page.

After a valid withdrawal, we refund the product price and the original delivery cost. You pay the cost of sending the product back.

Taxes, duties and charges you paid directly to foreign authorities or the carrier were not received by us. Please request any refund of those amounts from whoever collected them.
